Discover the Sparkling Wines of Modena: A Lambrusco Wine Tour

Dive into the sparkling world of Lambrusco in Modena! Modena isn't just the birthplace of Traditional Balsamic Vinegar; it's also the heartland of Lambrusco, a wine that has undergone a spectacular transformation. Once known as a cheap, overly sweet wine, Lambrusco has reclaimed its place as a refined and diverse Italian sparkling wine. Discover the unique Lambrusco varietals, each with its own distinct personality. From Lambrusco di Sorbara to Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro and Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce, the differences are striking and worth exploring on a Modena wine tour.

Your Lambrusco wine tour begins in the vineyards, where you'll gain insight into the nuances of the grapes, the terroir, and the winemaking techniques that make these sparkling wines so special.

Join us for a fully immersive Modena wine experience, guided by an Italian sommelier, where you'll uncover the unique stories of these varietals. We'll visit two top-tier Modena wineries, each renowned for their excellence and dedication to quality. One of the wineries also crafts exceptional wines from lesser-known local grapes such as Malbo Gentile and Trebbiano, offering a chance to expand your palate.

From there, it's on to the cellar to taste a curated selection of wines—mostly delightfully sparkling! You might even have the chance to sip wines that grace the wine list of the world-renowned 3-star Michelin restaurant, Osteria Francescana.

And because no Italian wine experience is complete without food, your tastings will be paired with small bites to enhance the flavours and keep the mood lively. This isn’t just a wine tour; it’s an invitation to discover the artistry, heritage, and joy of Modena’s sparkling treasures.
